At the April 14 City Council meeting, District 5 Councilwoman Betty Martinez Franco said that traffic is a myth, “this is not traffic,” and compared the City’s historic vote on open space preservation to segregation.

The Irvine Children’s Fund presented the 37th Annual Irvine Junior Games with over 1,400 student athletes, raising funds to support childcare scholarships at each IUSD elementary school campus. In total, the organization has raised in excess of $4M.
