Sean Crumby, Irvine’s seventh City Manager, appointed in October 2025, has resigned. Crumby was previously Interim City Manager, Assistant City Manager, and joined the City of Irvine as Director of Project Delivery & Sustainability. He was recruited by then-City Manager Oliver Chi from the City of Huntington Beach, where they previously worked together.
