Judge Carter’s courtroom has issued the following statement for the April 3 hearing:
The court hearing will be held at the Ronald Reagan Federal Building, 411 W. Fourth Street, Santa Ana, Courtroom 9D on April 3, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Overflow seating will also be available in Courtroom 9C as well as the jury assembly room on the first floor. This is a public hearing, not a rally/protest; therefore, no signs will be allowed in the courthouse. It will be up to Judge Carter to determine whether or not community members will be allowed to speak during the hearing.
Everyone must go through security and will need a government issued piece of identification, such as a driver's license, passport, etc. Cell phones are allowed, but must be placed on vibrate/silenced. No pictures or recordings will be allowed.
