Dan Ferons has been elected to the Irvine Ranch Water District's Board of Directors. Ferons, a Woodbridge resident and recently retired General Manager of the Santa Margarita Water District, replaces Dr. Karen McLaughin who served one term and did not seek re-election. Ferons garnered over 49% of the vote in a three-way race against environmental science professor Steven Allison (McLaughlin's husband), and real estate broker Ron Semon.
