At the October 10, 2023 Great Park Board Meeting, upon learning that the City Staff is recommending FivePoint's Retail Developer, Almquist, to be a City Contractor for Food & Beverage at the Great Park. Upon Chair Mike Carroll's expression of concern about a conflict of Interest, Board Member Treseder, a University Professor who has never developed anything in her career, could not follow the concern and attempted to explain it away. Treseder continues to show a complete deference to City Staff and a complete misunderstanding of how business works.
