Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner offers deals to concertgoers during opening weekend at FivePoint Amphitheatre

Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner will transport eager concertgoers from all over the region to the new FivePoint Amphitheatre this weekend as the much-anticipated outdoor music venue makes its debut. Those traveling by train may receive a free companion ticket with the purchase of a regular adult fare ticket on trains to and from the Irvine Station. Upon arriving at the Irvine Station, those heading to the concert will have a short five-minute walk from the station to the front entrance of the amphitheater. All concerts are scheduled to attend by 11 p.m. Amtrak will offer special late-night northbound Pacific Surfliner service to L.A. and north O.C. after each concert. The special northbound return train (597) will depart Irvine promptly at 11:40 p.m. A southbound Pacific Surfliner train (796) will depart Irvine at 11:09 p.m. toward San Diego. Concert attendees can take any Pacific Surfliner train to the FivePoint Amphitheatre with service from San Diego, Oceanside, Anaheim, Los Angeles and intermediate stops. This weekend's concert schedule includes: Young the Giant (October 5); Fish Family Night with Jeremy Camp & Big Daddy Weave (October 6); and Jack's 12th Show with The Offspring, 311, Cypress Hill, Gin Blossoms, Lit, & Eve 6 (October 7).
