IRVINE, Calif. — Taco Bell and Habit Burger & Grill, both headquartered in Irvine, are staying in town and moving to a significantly larger corporate campus in the Irvine Spectrum. According to the Orange County Business Journal, the sister restaurant brands have signed a lease for Irvine Company’s 254,000-square-foot Alton HQ campus, marking Orange County’s largest new office lease in five years.

The companies currently share a 181,000-square-foot headquarters at 1 Glen Bell Way, about a mile from their future home. The new three-building campus will have capacity for more than 1,100 employees, up from approximately 970 at the current location.

Plans for the new headquarters include expanded meeting space, a dining center for more than 300 people, a 4,000-square-foot photo studio, fitness center, sports court and daycare. Habit Burger will also gain its own test kitchen. The move is expected to take place by spring 2028 following renovations to the campus, which was previously occupied by Canon U.S.A.

Taco Bell and Habit executives said the move represents a long-term commitment to Irvine and provides additional room for the companies to grow.
