Dong Wang of Rosemead faces charges following his arrest for allegedly trying to scam an elderly victim out of thousands of dollars. Last week, a rental property owner called the Irvine Police Department after spotting a man “acting suspiciously” at their vacant rental property in Westpark, police said. Shortly after the call, a UPS driver delivered a package to the doorstep, and Wang was seen removing it.
