City officials to talk traffic issues

The first of three community meetings on transportation and traffic is set for 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at City Hall, 1 Civic Center Plaza.

The city-hosted workshops are part of a comprehensive review of traffic conditions and transportation programs in Irvine.

Information gathered will be used to form recommendations that could help shape the future of local transportation.

Additional meetings will take place at the same time Monday at University Community Park and Aug. 10 at Cypress Community Park.
