William Go has been elected to serve on the Irvine City Council representing District 2. In Irvine's first district elections, District 2 includes the villages of Woodbury, Cypress Village, and Portola Springs, as well as the Great Park Neighborhoods. Go garnered more than 30% of the vote in a five-way race, with significant outside support from the Orange County Firefighters union and McDonalds franchisees.
